Décolleté rejuvenation

Well-cared-for décolletage never has to hide. If your face looks younger than your neck and chest, if you avoid lower necklines or reach for a scarf even in summer – you are not alone. Décolleté skin ages faster than we expect, but here is the good news: the right non-surgical treatments can visibly improve its smoothness, tone and firmness.

Why does the décolleté look older than the face?

The skin of the upper chest is thin, has fewer oil glands and less natural protection than facial skin. It spends years exposed to the sun, yet rarely receives the same care and SPF. That is where fine lines, vertical wrinkles between the breasts, brown spots, redness and a crepey texture show up first. Side sleeping creases the skin in the same lines night after night, deepening the folds. All of this can be improved – when each change is treated the way it deserves.

What can we improve?

Fine lines and dehydrated texture respond best to skin-quality treatments. Vertical wrinkles call for work on collagen and support. Spots and uneven tone are targeted with laser or peels, and mild laxity with procedures that stimulate your own collagen. At your assessment we identify what dominates in your skin and work in that order – which is why the result looks natural, never „done“.

Skin boosters and biorevitalization: hydration and quality

When décolleté skin is dry, thin and dull, the first step is skin boosters and biorevitalization. Hyaluronic acid and regenerative complexes restore hydration and elasticity to thin skin, without adding volume the décolleté does not need. The skin gradually takes on a smoother, fresher, younger texture.

Polynucleotides, PRP and mesotherapy: regenerative support

Polynucleotides support skin renewal and improve elasticity and tone, making them an excellent choice for crepey décolleté texture. PRF and PRP use growth factors from your own blood for natural regeneration, while mesotherapy delivers vitamins and hyaluronic acid where no cream can reach. These treatments are often combined in a series for the best result.

Microneedling, laser and peels: texture and even tone

MicroNeedling triggers new collagen through controlled micro-channels and visibly improves thin-skin texture. For sun spots and photodamage, laser protocols such as Fotona4D and carefully chosen peels even out tone and refine the surface. The décolleté heals more slowly than the face, so we choose energy and strength conservatively – the safety of this delicate area comes before speed.

Collagen stimulators: firmness from within

When skin loses firmness, collagen stimulators such as Radiesse and PLLA encourage your skin to build new support on its own. The result develops over weeks and months and looks convincingly natural: firmer, better-quality skin with no „filled“ effect.

Home care and SPF: part of the result, not an extra

Care for your décolleté as an extension of your face: gentle cleansing, hydration, gradually introduced active ingredients and daily broad-spectrum SPF on every exposed area. A good routine extends your treatment results and slows new photoaging.

Your plan at ESTERA

At the consultation we assess the skin of your décolleté: lines, pigment, redness, elasticity and phototype. We agree on the priority – what contributes most to the appearance – and build a staged plan with realistic expectations and follow-up. If décolleté lines come together with neck wrinkles or laxity of the chin and jawline area, we look at the whole picture and plan accordingly.

FAQ

Can the décolleté look younger without surgery?

Yes. Skin quality, even tone and fine wrinkles respond very well to non-surgical treatments. With a large excess of skin, expectations are reviewed honestly at the consultation.

How many treatments are needed?

Usually a series of several treatments a few weeks apart, with maintenance later. The exact plan depends on the starting condition of the skin.

When will I see results?

Hydration and freshness show quickly, while firmness and smoothness through new collagen develop over weeks and months – which is why the result looks natural.

Are fillers used for décolleté wrinkles?

Rarely as a first choice: thin décolleté skin responds best to skin-quality treatments. A filler is occasionally considered only for a single deep crease.

Does side sleeping cause décolleté wrinkles?

It contributes to vertical lines, but sun and collagen loss are the main causes. Treatment plus habits give the best overall result.

Are the neck and décolleté treated together?

It often makes sense to assess them as one area, because a sharp contrast in skin quality between face, neck and décolleté looks unnatural. Procedures and settings are still chosen separately for each region.
