What is advanced microneedling?

Advanced microneedling combines the proven effect of medical microneedling with regenerative cocktails matched to the condition of your skin. As the device creates controlled micro-channels in the skin, sterile formulas are applied directly to the treated area and travel through those channels into the deeper layers, where their active ingredients can work most effectively.

The result is significantly amplified collagen production, deeper hydration and skin that looks visibly firmer, smoother and more radiant than after microneedling alone. The treatment is suitable for the face, neck, décolletage and hands, and for all skin phototypes.

How does advanced microneedling work?

The microneedling device (dermapen) creates thousands of controlled micro-channels in the skin, triggering its natural repair response:

  • collagen and elastin production is stimulated, so the skin gains firmness and elasticity,
  • fine lines and signs of ageing are softened,
  • the active ingredients of the cocktail – hyaluronic acid, peptides and other regenerative complexes – pass through the open channels into the dermis, far deeper than with surface application,
  • the skin becomes more deeply hydrated, the texture evens out and the pores are visibly refined.

The effects build cumulatively – skin quality continues to improve between treatments as well.

The CELL-DMX formulas we use

At Estera clinic we perform advanced microneedling with the CELL-DMX line of professional sterile formulas by the Swiss manufacturer Suisselle – the same house behind the Cellbooster products. CELL-DMX products are made from pharmaceutical-grade hyaluronic acid, in sterile conditions and to the highest manufacturing standards (ISO 22716, ISO 13485, ISO 9001 and GMP), which makes them suitable even for sensitive skin. We choose the formula according to the indication:

  • CELL-DMX OXYGEN BOOST (hyaluronic acid + succinate) – a defatigating and oxygenating formula for the face, neck, décolletage and eye contour,
  • CELL-DMX YOUTH RESTORE (PDRN) – a cellular regeneration and youth recovery formula for the face, neck and décolletage,
  • CELL-DMX AGE DEFENSE (hyaluronic acid + collagen + BTX-peptide complex) – a firming and anti-wrinkle formula for the face, neck and décolletage,
  • CELL-DMX DRAIN & DETOX (peptides + artichoke extract) – a draining, detoxifying and anti-fatigue complex for the face, neck, eye contour and body areas.

What does the treatment look like?

After an examination and an individual plan, the skin is cleansed and treated with the dermapen, and the chosen CELL-DMX formula is then applied to the treated area. A course of 3-4 treatments a few weeks apart is recommended, according to the condition of the skin and your goals. The skin recovers quickly – temporary redness settles within a few hours to a couple of days.

After the treatment, direct sun, saunas and extreme temperatures are avoided, and using a cream with a protection factor is mandatory.

Frequently asked questions about advanced microneedling

Is the treatment painful?

Pain is minimal; most patients describe a mild tingling and warming of the skin as the device passes over it.

How does it differ from classic microneedling?

With advanced microneedling, sterile regenerative formulas are delivered into the skin through the micro-channels, so the effect on collagen, hydration and glow is amplified compared to the mechanical treatment alone.

When are the results visible?

The first results are seen once the skin has recovered, and the full effect builds through the course of treatments as new collagen forms.
