What actually makes a Hollywood smile?
It is not one procedure, but a combination of treatments chosen according to your starting point. Most often these are ceramic veneers on the front teeth, metal-free crowns where the teeth are already damaged, whitening of the remaining teeth and correction of the gum line. The goal is always the same: teeth in a colour, shape and arrangement that look natural – on your face, not in a magazine photo.

What does the journey to a Hollywood smile at ESTERA look like?
- Consultation and smile analysis – a talk about your wishes, photographs, examination; we assess what is realistic and what preserves your teeth.
- Treating the foundation – before aesthetics: healthy teeth and gums are a prerequisite. Cavities and gum inflammation are treated.
- Plan and try-in – the planned shape and length of the teeth are reviewed before the work; the shade is chosen together with you.
- Whitening – if some teeth stay natural, they are whitened first, and the veneers and crowns are then made in that shade.
- Veneers and crowns – in the agreed number of visits; in the meantime you wear temporaries.
- Final bite check – the new smile must look good, but also function.
Veneers or crowns – what is chosen?
Where a tooth is healthy and needs a new facade, veneers are chosen – thin ceramic plates with minimal preparation. Where a tooth has already been filled, treated or broken, metal-free crowns are more reliable. Most Hollywood smiles are a combination: the decision is made tooth by tooth, at the examination.
How long does it take?
It depends on the scope: whitening alone is one to two visits; veneers and crowns most often take two to four visits within a few weeks. If teeth straightening is needed before the aesthetic work, that extends the plan – but protects the teeth from unnecessary preparation.
How much does a Hollywood smile cost?
The price is assembled from the individual treatments – the number of veneers and crowns, whitening and preparatory therapies – so the exact figure is given at the consultation, together with the plan. Frequently asked questions
Does a Hollywood smile look unnatural?
It does not have to. The shape, length and shade are chosen to suit your face – from a completely natural to a distinctly bright look. The decision is yours, with our recommendation.
How many teeth go into a Hollywood smile?
Most often the smile zone is treated – the front teeth visible when smiling and speaking (usually 8-10 per jaw), but the scope is determined individually.
Do the teeth have to be ground down?
Veneers require minimal preparation of the front surface, crowns more. Where the arrangement allows, no-prep techniques are also considered. We choose the plan so that healthy tooth is preserved as much as possible.
How long does the result last?
Ceramic veneers and metal-free crowns last many years with good hygiene, often over a decade. Whitening of natural teeth is refreshed occasionally.
Is the procedure painful?
No – everything is done under local anesthesia, and you wear temporaries between visits, so you are never without teeth.
