What is a MaiLi filler?
MaiLi is a family of hyaluronic acid gels for selected correction of lines and folds, lip shaping and facial volume replacement. The different variants are designed for different tissue needs.
MaiLi is not a PCL or PLLA collagen stimulator. When the main goal is filling and shaping, we talk about hyaluronic fillers; when biostimulation is being considered, the comparison uses different criteria.
OxiFree technology: what does it mean for your choice?
Sinclair describes OxiFree as a manufacturing method that reduces the presence of reactive oxygen and preserves long HA chains. The manufacturer describes the gel as elastic, with spring-like behaviour.
This explains the idea behind the brand, but it does not guarantee the same result on every face. Claims about a smaller amount in certain comparisons do not mean every patient needs less filler or that their correction will cost less. The amount is planned according to anatomy and goal.
MaiLi Precise, Define, Volume and Extreme
The family includes four names: Precise, Define, Volume and Extreme. Differences in gel properties allow different ways of correcting. More volume is not automatically a better result, and the strongest projection is not the right choice for every area.
The specific choice and the depth of injection are determined from the current instructions for the chosen variant and the findings at examination. The product name is not enough of an instruction for treating the lips, cheeks or the sensitive under-eye area.
Lips, lines and contours: what can the goal be?
- Lips: selected correction of volume and contour while keeping proportions.
- Lines and folds: correction when filling is indicated, not for treating muscle activity.
- Facial volume: support for selected areas and more harmonious contours.
Not every dark circle or under-eye bag is a problem for filler. This area needs a separate assessment of the cause and the risks; a result is not promised on the basis of a product description alone.
MaiLi or another hyaluronic filler?
The brand is one part of the decision. What matters is the properties of the specific gel, the area, the condition of the tissue, previous products and the possibility of follow-up. On this page MaiLi is not presented as a better choice than all other fillers or as a replacement for every correction.

When do you see the result and how long does it last?
The initial correction can be visible right away. Swelling and bruising can temporarily affect appearance, so we assess the result once early reactions settle. A follow-up is arranged according to the area and the course of recovery.
Duration is not the same for the whole MaiLi line. It depends on the variant, the injection site, the amount and individual characteristics. Data for one area does not automatically transfer to the lips, cheeks and all other zones. We do not promise a universal number of months or automatic repeat treatment.
MaiLi reviews and before and after photos
A useful account states the area, the variant, the time interval and any additional treatments. Immediate swelling is not the final result. Photos should be compared in the same light, from the same angle and without changes of expression or filters.
What does the treatment involve?
An examination and a conversation about your goals come before the choice of gel and amount. It is important to report previous fillers, allergies, medicines and health problems. Then the areas, the expected change, the risks, the price and the follow-up are agreed.
Sinclair states that lidocaine is in the MaiLi line; an allergy to lidocaine and related anaesthetics must be reported. The presence of an anaesthetic does not mean the injection is completely painless. Pricks, stinging and a feeling of pressure are possible.
Who is not a candidate and what are the risks?
MaiLi is not intended for pregnant or breastfeeding women or people under 18. According to the manufacturer’s safety information, it must also not be used in cases of: hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine or amide local anaesthetics; a history of severe allergy or anaphylaxis; autoimmune disease; porphyria; skin disorders, inflammation or infection at or near the treatment site; a tendency to keloids, hypertrophic scarring or other healing disorders; bleeding disorders or treatment with anticoagulants or thrombolytic drugs. For this reason, report all medical conditions and medicines at the examination. Do not stop prescribed medicines on your own.
Temporary swelling, bruising, redness and tenderness are possible, as are nodules, infection or delayed inflammatory reactions. A rare vascular complication can endanger the skin or vision. Unusual pain, blanching or a net-like change in skin colour require urgent contact with a doctor; a change in vision or neurological symptoms require immediate emergency medical help.
What if the result needs correcting?
HA gel can be broken down with hyaluronidase if needed, but only after a medical assessment. This is not a guarantee of simple or complete correction of every problem, and it does not remove the need for careful injection.

Aftercare and recovery
According to the manufacturer’s public information, cosmetic products should be avoided for the first 12 hours, and intense pressure and massage for several days, until the initial swelling and redness settle. Avoid saunas and intense exposure to heat, sun, UV rays and extreme cold according to the plan you are given.
