Page body (EN)
A fuller, rounder, firmer lower body no longer requires surgery, general anesthesia and weeks of recovery. A non-surgical BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift) is a protocol that sculpts the buttocks and hips with collagen biostimulators — injectables that prompt your body to build new tissue of its own. No fat transfer, no implants, no scars.

What is a non-surgical BBL?
A classic surgical BBL means liposuction and fat transfer to the buttocks — an operation with anesthesia, weeks of recovery and risks that have been widely discussed in recent years. The non-surgical BBL takes a different route: instead of fat, collagen biostimulators are injected into the skin and subcutaneous tissue of the buttocks and hips, prompting the body to build new collagen and elastin fibers in the treated area. The result is a moderate, natural-looking enhancement and tightening that develops gradually — no scalpel, no real downtime.
At ESTERA we use two products you may already know from our pages: Lanluma and Radiesse. Both are registered biostimulators with a long track record in aesthetic medicine.
How biostimulators build volume that is yours
Unlike hyaluronic fillers that instantly occupy space, biostimulators work differently: their microparticles (poly-L-lactic acid in Lanluma, calcium hydroxylapatite in Radiesse) activate fibroblasts — the cells that produce collagen and elastin. The body gradually resorbs the product, but the newly built collagen stays. That is why the result looks natural — because it is yours: your own tissue, built exactly where the product was placed. [1,2]
What we can treat
- Hip dips — the natural indentations between hip bone and outer thigh that no workout can „fill“. The most common request, and the area that responds best.
- Flat or sagging buttocks — mild to moderate enhancement, lifting and rounding of the contour, including after major weight loss.
- Cellulite and skin quality — hyperdiluted Radiesse is spread in thinner layers to target cellulite dimples and lax skin; read more on our cellulite page. [3]
- Asymmetries and textural irregularities — assessed individually.
If the main issue is localized fat rather than volume or skin, we may discuss fat-dissolving injections at your consultation — the treatments can be planned in combination.
Lanluma or Radiesse — or both?
Lanluma (PLLA) is a biostimulator designed for the body as well — the manufacturer developed a dedicated buttock and hip protocol; results build over 6–8 weeks, keep improving up to 9 months and can last beyond two years. [4]
Radiesse (CaHA) in hyperdiluted form spreads evenly through larger tissue areas, gives some immediate smoothing on the day and stimulates new collagen over the following months; published studies and consensus papers support its use for body areas including the buttocks and cellulite. [1,2,3] At ESTERA we use Radiesse with lidocaine for a more comfortable treatment.
In practice, the best result often comes from combining the two: PLLA for volume and support, hyperdiluted CaHA for skin quality — what and how much is decided at your consultation. Read more in our collagen stimulators guide.
What the treatment looks like
Everything starts with a consultation: we assess your anatomy, skin quality and your goal — and tell you honestly what is realistic. A treatment map (zones and volumes) is then planned.
The treatment is performed in-office with an anesthetic; the product is placed with a fine cannula into the planned layers and zones. It takes 45–60 minutes. Afterwards you receive instructions: massage of the treated area as advised, and avoiding strenuous workouts, saunas and tanning beds for the first days. Temporary swelling, redness and bruising are possible. Most patients return to normal activities the same or the next day.
How many sessions, and when results show
Usually 2–3 sessions spaced several weeks to two months apart, depending on the goal and volume. With hyperdiluted CaHA, early smoothing can be visible soon, and in the published technical report tightening and enhancement developed from 4–6 weeks and lasted 18–24 months [1]; with Lanluma the full result builds up to 9 months and lasts beyond two years [4]. Maintenance is planned individually, usually once every 18–24 months.
Who it is for — and who it is not for
The right candidates are healthy adults who want a moderate, natural improvement: filled hip dips, a subtle lift and rounder contour, better skin — without surgery or downtime. It is not a substitute for surgical augmentation: if you want a dramatic volume change, we will tell you openly and point you towards a surgical option. The treatment is not performed during pregnancy and breastfeeding, with an active infection in the area, or with certain autoimmune conditions — all of this is covered at the consultation.
Prices and packages
The price depends on product volume and the number of sessions, so the exact plan and price are set at the consultation. Reference points:
- Radiesse 1.5 ml: 48,000 RSD (PROMO: 36,000 RSD) — per syringe, as in the price list
- Lanluma: per plan — see the price list
- Packages for the hips (hip dips) and buttocks (contour + volume): the package contents — number of syringes/vials and sessions — and the package price are set at the consultation, according to your goal and anatomy
FAQ
Is a non-surgical BBL safe?
The biostimulators we use have been used in aesthetic medicine for many years, and the protocol avoids the risks of surgical BBL — no fat transfer, no general anesthesia. Temporary swelling, bruising and tenderness are possible; all risks are discussed at the consultation. [1,2]
How long do results last?
With Lanluma, beyond two years; with hyperdiluted Radiesse, 18–24 months in published reports. Maintenance is planned individually.
Does the result look natural?
Yes — the volume is built by your own collagen, gradually, so the change reads as a „better version“ of your body rather than an implant.
How many sessions will I need?
Usually 2–3, spaced several weeks to two months apart. The exact plan depends on your anatomy and goal — it is set at the consultation.
Can I exercise after the treatment?
A short break from strenuous workouts, saunas and tanning beds for the first days — yes. You receive detailed instructions after the treatment.
Can it be combined with other treatments?
Yes — it is often planned together with fat-dissolving injections or skin-quality treatments, according to your individual plan.
