What are polynucleotides?
Polynucleotides are molecules of natural origin – long chains of nucleotides involved in the natural processes of cellular renewal. Aesthetic medicine uses highly purified polynucleotides (PN-HPT technology) obtained through a controlled extraction process, with high safety and purification standards.
Polynucleotide treatment belongs to the group of biostimulating treatments: instead of „adding“ something to the skin (like fillers) or relaxing muscles (like botulinum), they stimulate the skin to renew its own structures. That is why polynucleotides are often chosen by people who want natural rejuvenation and slower skin ageing, without fillers and botulinum.
What is skin bioregeneration?
Unlike hydration alone, bioregeneration means renewal of the cell as the basic building unit of the skin. Once introduced into the skin, polynucleotides enter the natural regeneration cycle: they stimulate the activity of fibroblasts (the cells that build collagen and elastin), support the formation of new fibroblasts and contribute to better skin perfusion. The result is a gradual but structural improvement of skin quality – firmness, elasticity, hydration and texture.
