Is Juvelook right for me?
Juvelook is worth a conversation if you are bothered by fine lines, enlarged pores, acne scars, thin and dehydrated skin or signs of tiredness around the eyes, and you do not want your face to change. Whether it is the right choice for you, especially for the delicate eye area, is assessed at the examination.
If you also notice more marked volume loss or looseness, we will suggest a plan with other treatments, for example Lenisna or a filler. We tell you honestly what is right for you.
What can I expect?
In the first days skin looks fresher and more hydrated. Over the following weeks texture and firmness improve, and collagen stimulation continues for up to a few months. A plan of 2 to 3 sessions a few weeks apart is usual, followed by maintenance once or twice a year depending on your skin.
Sources give different figures for how long results last, from a few months to over a year. So the honest answer is: it depends on your skin and care, and at the consultation you get a realistic estimate for you.

What does the treatment look like?
We start by talking about what bothers you, your health and previous treatments. The product is prepared per the manufacturer instructions and placed at the agreed depth of the skin, and we ease discomfort in the way that suits you. Afterwards you get aftercare instructions and a follow-up plan. More on aftercare: skin care after treatment.
Is it safe, and what can happen?
After treatment you may have swelling, redness, bruising and tenderness. This is expected and passes. Less often there are nodules or delayed reactions, which is why follow-up is part of the plan. Treatment is not done during pregnancy or breastfeeding, with an active infection at the treatment site or a known allergy to components. Tell us about health conditions, medications and previous treatments.
Juvelook is not a replacement for filler when volume loss is marked, or for someone who wants an instant, pronounced change. We tell you that upfront.
Can it go with other treatments?

Frequently asked questions
Does Juvelook add volume?
No. The goal is skin quality: texture, firmness, pores and glow. For more marked volume loss a filler or Lenisna is usually chosen.
How many sessions will I need?
Usually 2 to 3 sessions a few weeks apart. You get the exact plan at the consultation.
Can it be done around the eyes?
The eye area is one of the areas the manufacturer lists. Whether it is right for you is assessed at the examination.
How long do results last?
Figures differ, from a few months to over a year. It depends on your skin and care.
