The better question is not which brand sounds stronger. It is which medicine, indication and plan fit your face.
Related, but not interchangeable
Both contain botulinum toxin type A, but they are different medicines. The Serbian Bocouture product information describes a 150 kDa neurotoxin without complexing proteins. Botox has a different formulation. That fact alone does not prove longer-lasting results, a more natural appearance or fewer adverse effects in an individual patient.
The units are not interchangeable. A unit count prescribed for one medicine cannot simply be copied to the other.
What is approved locally?
Both brand names appear in the Serbian ALIMS medicines register. Bocouture has listed aesthetic indications for specified moderate-to-severe lines between the eyebrows, around the eyes and on the forehead in adults under 65, subject to the label’s conditions. The Serbian Botox product information lists its own therapeutic indications. US or UK advertising is not a reliable guide to what is approved in Serbia.
For any proposed use, a clinician checks the current Serbian product information and discusses whether the use is within the indication or off-label. This page does not claim that ESTERA currently stocks or uses both brands; confirm the actual product during the consultation.
What will the visit and result be like?
The effect develops over days rather than instantly and is generally reviewed after roughly two weeks. Duration varies; a brand name alone cannot promise a particular number of months. Injection-site pain, redness, swelling and bruising can occur. Unwanted effects on nearby muscles are possible.
Allergy to ingredients, infection at the proposed site, neuromuscular illness, medicines and prior treatment are reasons for careful assessment. Seek urgent medical help for difficulty swallowing, speaking or breathing.
Ask these questions instead
Is the line caused by movement or present at rest? Is the proposed use covered by the local label? What realistic result would preserve the expression you value? An individual examination matters more than an online comparison of unit counts.
People often use “Botox” as shorthand for the entire category. On a medicine pack it is a specific brand. Our main Botox guide explains the procedure in more detail.
Short answers
Does “without complexing proteins” mean no allergy risk? No.
Can one product be swapped for the other at the same unit count? No; the units are not interchangeable.
