Redness that does not fade, fine red lines around the nose and cheeks, skin that flushes in the cold, in the sun or after a glass of wine. You do not have to cover it with foundation every day. At ESTERA we first work out what is going on with your skin, then build a plan: laser correction of visible capillaries and skin care that calms instead of irritating.

Rosacea or capillaries: what is the difference?
Visible capillaries (telangiectasia) are fine red or purple lines, most often on the sides of the nose, cheeks and chin. Once widened, they do not go back on their own. Rosacea is a chronic skin condition with redness, warmth and stinging, and in some people spots. Many people have both, which is why the first step is an assessment, not a guess.
What ESTERA offers
- Assessment and mapping: which zones are involved and whether the skin is calm enough to treat.
- Nd:YAG laser capillary correction: the laser targets the blood in the widened vessel, the vessel closes and the body gradually clears it. Charged per zone, see the price list.
- A care plan for sensitive skin: gentle products and daily SPF, because sun is one of the main triggers.
Your plan is built for you, not from a template.
What does the first visit look like?
We examine your skin, ask about triggers (sun, heat, spicy food, alcohol, stress, cosmetics), show you which vessels we can treat and what the plan looks like. You leave knowing what is done, in which order and roughly how many sessions to expect. Nothing is done until we agree.
What is the capillary treatment like?
A short session with no long recovery. Most people describe a mild stinging. Temporary redness or slight swelling is possible afterwards, and sun protection is required. Most people go back to their day the same day.
What can you do yourself?
Daily SPF, gentle alcohol-free and fragrance-free care, avoiding sudden temperature changes and your personal triggers.
Frequently asked questions
Can visible capillaries disappear on their own?
No. Permanently widened capillaries do not recede by themselves. Laser correction is the standard method.
Is laser capillary treatment painful?
Most people describe a brief, mild stinging and tolerate it well. Temporary redness or slight swelling is possible.
How many sessions do I need?
Smaller capillaries are often solved in one to two sessions; more numerous or larger vessels may need a series. We give an exact estimate at the assessment.
Will the capillaries come back?
Closed vessels stay closed, but new ones can form if you are prone to them. That is why SPF and avoiding triggers are part of the plan.
Can rosacea be cured?
Rosacea is a chronic condition that is kept under control. The aim is less redness, fewer flare-ups and a more even complexion, with no promise of permanent disappearance.
Can I be treated in summer?
Freshly tanned or sunburnt skin is not suitable. We schedule based on your skin and your ability to avoid the sun.
Can I wear make-up afterwards?
It depends on how your skin reacts. You get instructions after the treatment.
How much does capillary treatment cost?
It is charged per zone. Current prices are in the price list, and your plan and exact price come at the consultation.
